About Us Lipz Panelz was born by accident in Rockford Illinois in 2003 when a local sign shop realized the need for custom and semi-custom number plates for BMX racing. In mid 2007, the company was purchased by couple of seasoned entrepreneurs, Cory Geffre and Ryan Hanson, and relocated to South Dakota. Although South Dakota may not be a hot bed of BMX, one of the owners, Cory Geffre travels extensively so his 2 kids can race BMX all over the country. So the Lipz ownership team is balanced with a die hard BMXer and an BMX outsider. Which allows Lipz Panelz to come up with exciting programs for BMX; that are both BMX focused and balanced.
